Accommodations

Sleeps five/six. V berth with filler forward.  Enclosed head next aft to port with shower and vanity, hanging locker opposite to starboard. Groco HF Series marine toilet new in 2013. Main cabin with settees port and starboard.  Port settee converts to form double berth. Pilot berth to starboard, currently used for microwave, coffee maker, and storage.  Fold-down bulkhead-mounted table with leaf. Nav station and quarterberth next aft to port, galley opposite to starboard. Varnished cabin sole.

Galley

U-shaped galley features Seaward three-burner, stainless steel, propane stove with oven, double stainless steel sinks with hot and cold pressurized water, also Whale Gusher manual fresh water pump, Nova Kool LT201 12 volt refrigerated ice box.with freezer compartment and RT6 evaporater. Kuuma 6 gallon water heater which heats from the engine or from 110 volt AC dockside power. Xintex S-2A propane control and fume detector. Keurig coffee maker and Heier MWM6600Rw microwave oven, powered by 12 v-110 v inverter, mounted on pilot berth.

Electrical

12 volt DC and 110 volt AC dockside systems. 12 volt DC system includes four 12 volt DC batteries in two banks.  Bank #1 includes three Group 31 deep-cycle, lead-acid house batteries (2024).  Bank #2 includes one Group 24 deep-cycle lead-acid engine starting battery (2023).Battery selector switch. 12 volt breaker panel with voltmeter and ammeter. Dedicated windlass battery (2024) which is a Group 31 deep-cycle, lead-acid battery. 110 volt dockside system includes breaker panel and 50' 30 amp shore power cord, also a 25' cord with household 15 amp connectors. Xantrex HF-1800 1,800 watt 12 volt-to-110 volt inverter with 40 amp battery charger.  Xantrex LinkLITE high precision battery monitor. Xantrex Digital Echo-Charge trickle charger for charging windlass and engine start battery. SW 65 watt solar panel with ASC 12-8 charge controller.

Electronics and Navigation

Raymarine E7 multifunction display with GPS and chartplotter, Raymarine digital radar, Raymarine Smartpilot autopilot, Raymarine ST 60 depth sounder, Raymarine I-50 knotmeter/log, Raymarine I-60 apparent windspeed/direction indicator, Raymarine I-60 close haul wind indicator.  All Raymarine units are interfaced to the Raymarine E7 multifunction display. Standard Horizon Explorer GX1600 VHF radio transceiver with RAM3 remote RAM cockpit mike. Ritchie SP5 pedestal-mounted compass.

Hull and Deck

Modified full keel with centerboard and skeg-hung rudder. Edson pedestal wheel steering. extended (heightened) pedestal guard for mounting of Raymarine E7 multifunction display. Bow pulpit, stern rail, double lifelines. Starboard boarding gate. Eight Beckson opening ports, all of which received new lenses, gaskets, and screens (2016) , 2 opening overhead hatches, both rebuilt with new lenses and gaskets (2017). Two dorade and two clamshell deck vents. Bow anchor roller, Lewmar Pro Series 1000 horizontal windlass (new around 2010) with remote control for both up and down functions. In 2024 owner had Parker's Boat Yard in Cataumet, MA do a bottom job which included soda blasting the hull, filling and fairing the surface, applying a barrier coat and then three coats of bottom paint.

Engine and Mechanical

Westerbeke 40 four-cylinder, fresh-water-cooled diesel engine with an estimated 2,000 - 2,600 hours (see Broker's Notes below). Heat exchanger replaced in 8/2024. High pressure fuel pump rebuilt 2023. Oil cooler replaced 2016. Raw water pump replaced in 2016 Tachometer replaced in 2011.

Sails and Rigging

Masthead rig. Aluminum keel-stepped mast. Sail inventory consists of Hild mainsail with two sets of reef points and Dutchman furling system, condition good. North 135% roller-furling genoa in fair condition.  Both sails purchased used, age unknown. Harken MkIII roller-furling system for genoa. Harken mainsheet traveler, mounted on coachroof forward of dodger. Hall Spars QuikVang rigid boom vang. Navtec hydraulic backstay adjuster (not working). Winch inventory includes two Lewmar #52 self-tailing, primary genoa sheet winches, Barient #21 self-tailing mainsheet winch, Lewmar #40, #30, and #16 winches mounted on port side of mast, Lewmar #16 and #7 winches mounted on starboard side of mast. Lewmar #8 centerboard pennant winch. Five winch handles. Tri-radial spinnaker, age and condition unknown (current owner never used). Spinnaker pole, condition unknown. No spinnaker tackle. Upper shrouds replaced in around 2014. Main halyard new in 2006. Genoa sheets new in about 2014. Main sheet new in about 2020.

Fairclough custom canvas winter cover (2022) and frame with two season's use, cockpit dodger with roll-up center window, bimini with side curtains and connector piece to attach to dodger, mainsail cover (2016), varnished teak cockpit table and cup holder, foldng stainless steel boarding ladder (attaches at starboard boarding gate), davit for dinghy motor (attaches to radar mast), stern rail-mounted outboard motor dinghy bracket, JBL MR-17 AM/FM/CD stereo with two speakers in cabin and two speakers in cockpit, Sirius SDSV6  satellite (Sirius XM) receiver (subscription required for usage), West Marine ProGrill propane grill, mounts on stern rail with connection to main propane tank, Sensa Tank II fluid level monitor (2011) for measuring fluid levels in water and holding tanks, CQR 35 anchor with 20' 5/16" chain and 200' 9/16" nylon anchor rode, Danforth anchor with nylon rode, folding dinghy anchor with nylon rode, two spare anchor rodes, emergency tiller, West Marine binoculars, Pro Tork rechargeable spotlight, West Marine Bosun's chair, three flares (expire in 2026), radar reflector, 7 standard adult PFD's, 3 inflatable PFD's, 8 buoyant cockpit cushions, three fenders, boat hook, five dock lines, miscellaneous other lines, 25' AC extension cord, 25' garden hose, misc. tools and engine spares.

Broker's Notes

Engine hours are unknown.  Current owner installed a new tachometer with hourmeter in 2011.  The old tach/hourmeter was not working. Owner has accumulated about 1,170 hours since the installation.  He estimates between 800-1,600 hours of engine use (25-50 hrs./year?) previous to installation of new tach which would suggest an estimated 2,000-2,600 total engine hours.

 

All ports received new lenses, gaskets, and screens (2016).

 

Both hatches were rebuilt by Select Plastics and received new acrylic and gaskets (2017).

 

Leaking fuel tank was replaced with a custom built aluminum tank matching original (2017).

 

Owner had Parker's Boat Yard do a major job on the bottom in 2024  Bottom was soda blasted, filled and faired, barrier coated, and bottom painted,

 

Head system has had upgrades over the years.  New toilet, a Groco HF-1 installed (2013). New Jabsco 18590 macerator pump (2010), new Ronco B445 35 gallon holding tank (2011), Jabsco 45490-1000 Y-valve between macerator pump for overboard discharge and deck pump-out hose (2020).
